So I love dinosaurs. One of the first customs I ever did was Munnysaurus Wrecks...which is sort of Wrecks' dad and after that I did a Dunnyceratops and a Munny-Raptor. I still own all 3 of these pieces as there was a combined love for them by me and dis-interest by others. So when I started thinking about the decals for Wrecks I wanted to include some hand-written note type things as if the human soldiers he fights aside did it...and I thought "Michael Crichton was here" would be clever and a shout out to one of my original literary inspirations. I did some quick research on Crichton because I knew he died recently and low and behold... He died on November 4, the same day as the opening of the 3A show in San Francisco. It will be 3 years to the day that Crichton died of throat cancer. It was a sign to me that Wrecks is gonna be the shit and all of my customs will go over amazingly.
Hoping to do the final shoot of the rest of the finished bots tonight. Man I'm strapped for time... and I have to host goddamn trivia tonight too. Best stay sober or else the late night photo shoot will turn into a not so late bed time.

Crappy Pics of 3A
Here are a few pics I snapped last night of things almost finished with 3 of my customs that I've dubbed as part of The Z00 battalion. It includes Wrecks, Rasp and Rover.
Wrecks is a goddamn beast, built from a 1/6 Heavy Bramble, not only will he trample you to death, but he'll tear your body armor to pieces and blast you in stride as well. Still finishing up the decals on Wrecks but here is the main Z00 decal.
Rasp is a close combat tank hybrid. Beware of his deadly claws... and if you manage to escape he'll mow you down with his gatling gun tail. Carries 1 custom World War Glyos figure and is still in queue to get his decals. Paint app is about done though I still need to paint the driver.
Rover is a recon and rescue bot. His forte is stealth infiltration. He is lightning quick and silent as a ninja. His tail mounted HD camera relays real time footage back to head quarters while his legs carry him across enemy lines without a trace. Got a man trapped behind enemy lines, Rover will sneak in with emergency supplies and get your man back safe... or make sure he doesn't talk.
Rover is complete with decals and I recently added his back mounted pouches. I did alter the camera some to make it look more like a camera as well as weathered the pouches. So final pics still to come.
And the Cybermen bot head is just about done. I decided to take some creative liberties with the line work on the head and here are the results. I will probably tinker with it until the last minute but I think he is looking really good. Mouth glows really well and looks dope. It will be a nice contrast to the rest of the heads since none of them will have mouths.
The Dunny Walker is about done as well. I finishing the sculpting on the Dunny and just need to finish painting. He looks awesome in the cockpit because his Grunt helmet literally sits on the edges of the cockpit and you can only see a sliver of his face....it just looks seamless.
Aliens Mech Walker is behind schedule but I have most of the raw sculpting done...got alot of fine tuning to do as well as painting still. This is gonna be a barn burner to finish this one.

3A Rolling Out
My 3A customs for the I Am Legion show in San Francisco are nearly finished and I'll be posting up some pre-photo shoot images right here later tonight. I just need to add the decals and final weathering layer to the 3 animal bots that I am designating as part of The Z00 faction, I need to finish the Dunny for the Dunny Walker, the Cybermen head is done, and I still have alot of work to do on the Aliens Mech Loader. Check back here later for pics.

Sketches and Process pics.
Sorry it's been a bit quiet folks. Been really busy trying to finish up a bunch of sketches amidst working on all of my 3A customs for the show in November. Right now I have 5 pieces underway for the show and 1 more planned. That includes the Bot head which I am turning into a 3A/ Doctor Who Cybermen head, 3 completely unique bot builds and a Dropcloth homage to the Aliens mech loader that will be driven by an APTK created by Konfucious of the KR boards. So alot of time and money put into these pieces and I really hope they're gonna knock some socks off.
So here are some pics of things I've been working on the last week and the most recent sketches.
2nd stage of the Cybermen head build. Building up the mohawk sculpt with floral foam so I get a better shape and use less magic sculpt.
T-Wrecks initial paint application. The build is about completed I just need to sort out last minute balance issues.
Rover - Build is complete and still refining the paint app.
Initial sculpt and sanding of the mohawk complete.
Mohawk complete. side strips added and the new ear cuffs added. I used 2 Heavy Bramble heads as the new ear cuffs. All I need to do now is add the handle bars and he'll be ready for some paint.
Just in case you aren't familiar with the Cybermen, he is gonna look like this.
This guy is brand new and doesn't really have a name yet. He will be carrying a custom Glyos build...you can see him there in the front. I've been calling him Runaway because he reminds me of those spiders from the movie "Runaway" with Gene Simmons and Tom Selleck.
Beginning of the new helmet sculpt for the Noop. I'm replacing the Jaws crown with something completely new. Finding this to be difficult because of the tapered shape of the head and his ears.
Magic sculpt over the tape spacers.
After messing with it I had to cut alot of it off in order for it to come off. Once I start building up the actual head sculpt it will extend out over the ears and obscure much of the holes on the sides.
3" Medusa revised. Snake ears now. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna sculpt her a snake body and tail similar to what I'll be doing with the Kraken.
3" Perseus
8" Kraken. Will have 4 arms and a sculpted snake like body.
Continuation of the Justice League. Figure #3 - Batman.
Figure #4 - Martian Manhunter
Figure #5 - Guy Gardener
Chinese Warrior
Strider Hiryu

Soap Box Race Tomorrow
Had a really busy week. Been working on my Soap Box car which is nearly done, working on customs as usual and been really busy at my day job. The race is tomorrow and after completing the build I am now adding aesthetic things to the car. I decided that I was gonna wear my Hellboy box head during the race so I'm turning my 3 wheeler into Hell On Wheels. Here you can see the front fender that I added last night. The last things I need to do is attach the rear hub caps and paint the wood and the white part of the bike body the same red. I still need to figure out a way to cover up the blue straps that hold the chair to the rest of the frame. When I bought them I had a different paint scheme in mind... plus they were the cheapest ones.
I just finished these little guys for a collector that from what I understand, came into the whole vinyl scene because of the article about my Chomping at the Bit show in Nintendo Power. Now he's on the boards and has placed more than a few commissions. These guys are super cool. The variety in the types of masks looks awesome all together.
Los Straitjackets
Gonna be working on 3A stuff this weekend including my 3A bothead Dr. Who Cybermen head — Yeah, that's right. Any Who fans out there are gonna love this thing. As well as my collab with Konfucious, our homage to Ripley, the Dropcloth/APTK Mech Loader. Still got Rover and my Heavy Bramble T-Rex build underway as well. I'll take some pics this weekend. Dunny's, Munny's and everything in between will get some work as well. I've got probably 15 projects in flux right now.
Go Bills, and it would be sweet if my Buffalo Bulls could upset the Vols on Saturday — not optimistic though.

2nd Half of my Frankenstein Soap Box Car
I'm going to pick up the 2nd half of the main components I need to complete my Soap Box Car — a kids BMX bike. I found this on Craigs List also and cost me 30 bucks. All I need from the bike is the front wheel, the hand break, the fork, and half of the front triangle. So basically I'm gonna cut the bike in half and attach the front end to the wheel chair minus the handle bars, and mount the hand break between my legs which will still activate the breaks on the front wheel. I start work on it this weekend and will have process pics for you.
In other news, I still have a bunch of sketches to finish and still have new projects coming in. As per usual, great stuff on the horizon for some new and some tried and true collectors of my work. Still trying to finish my vectors to submit to KR for production designs — it's gonna happen someday. I promise. Hellboy will be making his 2nd appearance at the Little 5 Points Halloween parade here in Atlanta at the end of October. And The N3rdLink will be recording our first show in the coming week or so... I personally have not mentioned this yet but The N3rd Link is going to be a podcast about all sorts of awesome and nerdy things featuring me, and KR forum members Geoffcuddy and the creator, Zonnie5. Still sorting out some of the logistics of recording 3 different people in 3 different locations but the first show should be happening soon.

As always...if you guys need anything, you know where to find me.
