Done and new news!
The Yeti is going to a good home. He will be hanging out with many of his older brethren so he should be happy!!!!
Bigger and more important news!!!!!
The raffle for the Rasp 3A figure continues. The entries are coming in slowly and I would prefer it if MORE came in so I'm going to be sweetening the pot! Not only will the Rasp figure be up for grabs, but I am now adding the 8" version of my Yeti into the mix. You may or may not have heard yet — you should go listen to our N3rd Link podcast — but there is going to be a Most Wanted show in San Francisco in May and for the occasion I've decided to sculpt an 8" version of my Hide-a-Dunny which will have a 3" inside of it, which will have the mini inside of that. And by entering the raffle you will now have a shot at 2 prizes for the exact same price. The inner Yeti Dunny, the 3" and the mini, will be slightly different so it isn't the same as the one I just dropped. The 8" version will be the same as the current 3".
So all you Dunny fans out there who didn't enter the raffle because you don't collect 3A, now you no longer have an excuse. In fact, you should be compelled more than ever to enter now that there are 2 prizes...and perhaps more to come!
Again, this is still a single raffle for both prizes, all proceeds will still go towards the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
Please send payments to jared.cain@gmail.com in increments of 20. The goal is still the same, 40 entries, so your odds are still the same.
Thanks guys and send in the entries!!!!

Hide-a-Yeti!!
As promised, I know it took longer than anticipated, here is the very first offering of my original sculpt. Even before it makes its debut in MW3. The only difference on the Yeti is a drilled holes for arms, where as Arrrrr-Manda is more like a traditional nesting doll and has her arms painted on. Yeti does come with an inner Dunny but I decided to leave that as as surprise.
Again, first person to comment gets to purchase the 1 and only Yeti.

Oh yeah, he's $65 shipped.

Raffle Time for the Avon Walk
So I have a couple of my 3A pieces left over from the 3A show back in September and I've decided to raffle off one of them and all the proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer research and treatment with a focus on the medically underserved via a donation to a friend who regularly participates in the Avon Walk in Washington D.C.
This is the piece that will be up for raffle. It is a 1 of a kind custom 3A bot. There really is nothing like it in existence. It comes complete with a custom built Glyos driver.

The way it will work is raffle spots will be 20 bucks. You can get as many as you want. The goal is to get 40 spots filled and that will be the maximum. The minimum to move forward with the raffle will be 30. If the minimum is not reached then I will refund everyones payments. All you need to do is send payments to jared.cain@gmail.com in increments of 20 as "Personal", then check "Other", and in the comments box please put Avon Walk Donation. You can send any payments starting now. I will let you guys get first dibs on this for now and if I need to fill any spots I will take it to the boards and the toy blogs. Thanks guys and I hope you can help me make this a success. If you have any concerns about the legitimacy of the destination of the donation please email me at that same address and I can put you in touch with the person who will physically be doing the walking.
Once the goal is reached I will number each entry and have a random number generator pick a number and that will be our winner and I will cover worldwide shipping of the figure.

Final Version
I'm burning the screens right now and the new supplies are working perfectly. Nothing better than brand new emulsion.
Here is the final version. Not that much different but I think alot better than version 1.

Revised
So after getting a message from a friend it became evident that the person at the top falling off the cliff wasn't quite distinct enough to clearly be read as a person. So this is the revised version. Is this one more clear? Better? Worse? I need some feedback. Leave me a comment or email me.
Thanks.
Thanks.
New Gig Poster

Weekend update
Not much of an update for this week. I worked on my Most Wanted Dunny's all weekend and I am down to the final 2. It's a good feeling to be almost done and they all look really good. As of right now I made casts of the Hide-a-Dunny —8 for the production, 1 more which will be for me to keep, and for the final 1 I decided to paint up the Yeti that was my very first design for the platform and it will be for sale as soon as I finish it. It will most likely be sometime in the next few days. The way it will work is be the first person to comment in the post that you want to buy it and it is yours. That's it. So if you're interested in getting the very first incarnation of the Hide-a-Dunny just be on your toes.

Work in Progress
I'm deep into the production of my Most Wanted Dunny's and those are coming along great but I've always got other things going on. Here are a couple work in progress shots.
First is a 3" Samurai Dunny I'm doing in the style of Gundam. There are so many samurai customs out there I wanted to do something different. I've got alot of the sculpting done but there will be just as much work to do on the paint application.
The second pic is a basically completed Stider Hiryu mini Munny. I absolutely love the way this came out. The scarf covering his face is contoured to his face and the is technically a separate piece from what hangs down on his chest. The scarf that trails behind him is wrapped around a sculpted piece so it is static but I made it look as if it were streaming behind him. I still need to do a final photo shoot where you'll be able to see everything better.
And this is just my desk where you can see all kinds of things in the works.

Weekend Update
I feel like I got alot done this weekend but don't have alot to show for it. I now have 3 finished MW3 Dunny's and they are looking better with each one I finish. Man it takes a while to finish just 1 but I anticipate being done with them in 10 days max. That includes the inner mini Dunny. I also finished 1 of the 4 variant head Headless Horseman that I was supposed to have done months ago as gifts. The sculpts have been sitting on my desk for almost a year I just couldn't get to them.
Other than that I planted some trees with an organization on Saturday. Some friends of ours invited us and Amanda and I went. Not only did we plant 6 trees but we excavated several shopping carts that could have been more than a decade old. One of them was a Woolworth cart and I can't remember the last time I actually saw a Woolworth.
I went to an art crawl on Saturday night and saw some cool work from what you might call the low brow scene here in Atlanta. One of the shows was inspired by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. We didn't spend too much time in the galleries though. We checked out the work and before long we got a bit turned off by the pretentious aura of most of the people there which seems odd to me for low brow art.
I also got in 2 new pretty large projects. 1 is a custom dinosaur sculpt that will be compatible with both Glyos vinyl and ABS, and the other is a 5 piece Gatchaman set. Both are gonna rule.

El Birro and Beyond
So Chauskoskis' El Birro Dunny dropped today as a special discussion board release and it got me really excited for the future. Makes it a reality that us up and comers can bust through and I really feel like I could be on the verge. Having said that I had been sitting on 2 completed vectors because I wanted to send them all in at the same time. I have 2 more that I'm working on. But after todays release I just decided to saw screw it and send em in. SOOOOO, as of now I have sent in my first 2 Dunny submission. My Headless Horseman and my Albino Tiger cub are in there....cross your fingers. I have my Mad Scientist and my Spade Knight in the works and I hope to send them in soon as well. It takes forever to finish a full turnaround.
Late Weekend update
I unfortunately did not get a ton done this weekend.
Friday night I finished the Free Art Friday pieces and Amanda and I went around and placed them around town. It was raining and crappy out but we managed to avoid most of the weather. We stopped and had a few drinks and got a pizza on the way home. I think we laid down after eating and just fell asleep.
Saturday Amanda and I went to the mall for some things and she ended up finding her wedding bands so she's happy and just another things for the wedding out of the way. And my damn ring is still not there. We ordered it in August and who knows what the hold up is. I had a few hours when we got home to work and then we went to a house party at my friends. I played beer pong for the first time since college and I sucked ass my first game and we lost, but I got in the groove and killed the rest of the time. Sunday was a good day and I got a decent amount of work done and I had our soccer playoffs at 8:30. We were the number 1 seed.
First game: Win - 5-0
2nd game - Semi's - Win 5–1
Finals - Win 5–1
So we won the championship back to back which is really unheard of so that was pretty awesome. After a year and a half of rearranging the team and swapping guys here and there our team is pretty sick now.
So all in all I FINALLY finished the 3 Storms. I had to sew the last 2 capes , darken up some lines on their hats and finish Lightnings weapons. I finished Strider as well and he looks SICK!!! I am super happy with how he came out. He looks amazing. And I finished the 2nd custom chainsaw for a 3A Dropcloth. I'd finished the first one ages ago and just couldn't get around to the 2nd one til now. Also still working on my MW3 production run, and I just sent out a quote for a very cool project that will be very difficult and involved and I hope to hear back about that as well.
I'm also working on a design for an upcoming custom Bot series and just found my 'Bots at Urban Outfitters. I have to admit these little bots are pretty awesome. I also committed to doing a special cameo piece for another boardies series that is really gonna be super cool.
Got so much on the table right now and only more coming in.

Free Art Friday
It's the first Friday of March and it's time for some new magnet fun. This time around I've got 5 sets of Sponge Bob and Patrick in an array of colors. Not finished painting them but here's a sneak peek.
